VendMAX Global Settings

Mobile Global Settings:

VendMAX Global Settings contains configuration settings which defines how the mobile app works with VendMAX.  The settings with the simplifi icon apply to simplifi MOBILE.

Admin Password – Password to access the Advanced Settings in the app.

Allow Cell Data –  simplifi uses the user setting “simplifi route: Allow mobile internet”

Alpha in bag # – Allow alpha characters in the bag number.

Auto refresh Service calls – Determines if Service Calls are automatically refreshed in the background.

Auto-post vend visits – Not used with simplifi MOBILE.  Vend visits uploaded to VendMAX are automatically posted. 

Blind Inventory Counts for micromarkets – When inventory is scheduled, this setting controls whether user can see expected market beginning inventory or not.

Calculated Added – This setting applies when POS is not set to prekit.  When set to YES, and the beginning inventory is entered on the app (manually or via dex), ADDS is automatically calculated as Par – Beg Inv. 

Download Unscheduled Stops – Not used in simplifi MOBILE.  All Vending and Delivery POS assigned to the route are downloaded to the app.

Driver to inventory – Similar to HANDHELD server, this setting controls when the app enforces an inventory.  Options are scheduled, on all collects or on all services & collects.

Enable Auto Upload – Not used with simplifi MOBILE.  Transactions will upload to VendMAX throughout the day.

Enable Cashless Meter (CCM) – When YES, the cashless meter shows for POS with a cashless device.

Enable Coin Mech Value Meter (CMV)  – When YES, the coin mech value is required for POS with a coin mech.

Enable Recycler Fill Meter (RCF) – – Recycler functionality is not available on simplifi MOBILE

Enable Recycler Inventory Meter (RCI) – – Recycler functionality is not available on simplifi MOBILE

Force Meter Read – When DEX is not taken, the driver is asked to enter a cash meter reading.  

If DEX price doesn’t match POG – Controls how the app responds when the dex price doesn’t match the planogram price.  

Include Saturday –  When the app shows the “prepare next day” calendar, should the default date skip Saturdays?

Include Sunday –When the app shows the “prepare next day” calendar, should the default date skip Sundays?

Inventory method – Not used with simplifi MOBILE.  Inventory method is Beginning.

Next Days Limit – Prepare next date limit.  Max is 7 days from today’s date.  This setting prevents a driver from preparing next day, ending day, preparing next day and moving the schedule date too far forward.  

PayRange DEX enabled

Refresh Rate – Not used with simplifi MOBILE

Refresh Max Rate – Not used with simplifi MOBILE

Refresh Rate Min – Not used with simplifi MOBILE

Require Password to Edit Capacity –  The driver must enter a password in order to edit the Capacity on a vending planogram selection.

Require Password to Edit DEX ID – The driver must enter a password in order to edit the Dex ID on a vending planogram selection.

Require Password to Edit Price –  The driver must enter a password in order to edit the Price on a vending planogram selection.

Require password to Edit Product – Allows driver to change the product &/or Par value in a vending planogram selection.

Scan Field – Not used with simplifi MOBILE.  Scanning searches for match on POS code, VEQ code and then VEW serial numbers. First match found, will open the POS.

Service Calls App Refresh Rate – Not used with simplifi MOBILE

Strictly enforce vending POS inventories – When ‘Yes’, and POS is scheduled for an Inventory, the user cannot leave the vending POS service without entering and inventory value for each column. 

Unlock and update service orders on download – Not used with simplifi MOBILE.

Upload Delay – Determines the number of minutes the app waits before uploading completed vend visits. Once this delay time is over, the visit cannot be edited by the driver and it moves into the refresh cycle.  This means the longest time it will take a visit to upload is the Upload delay + Refresh rate.

View out of service – Determines if user can view out of service products on the app.

User settings for simplifi MOBILE:

Simplifi Route: Allow DEX from  File – Used in field testing, this setting allows the mobile user to simulate a dex read by using a local copy of a dex file located on their smart device.

Simplifi Route: Allow Mobile Internet – Default setting determines whether to upload and synchronize using the user’s cell plan.  When set to ‘No’, communication is performed using Wi-Fi.  The user’s mobile device settings will override this setting.

Simplifi Route: Barcode Scan Increment Enabled-When scanning a barcode the quantity value will increment by one every time you scan the barcode.

View Out of Service – When ‘No’, products marked out of service in VendMAX are not shown in product lookups.
